I’m Laura D. Lampley, writer, creator, and designer.

I would love for you to join me on my new journey.   Discover my children’s books and I’m most proud of my new YA Sci-FI Book coming out at the end of February. 

Story ideas flood my brain, one after another, as if the Universe was teasing me, “come on, Laura, you can do it!”     

My series, “Children of the Moon Queen,” will follow a strange boy, from discovering that being different holds great power;  Friends are more valuable than any other element; and Love is so rare in the Universe that every living creature comes here to discover its magic.

I wrote "Phantom Song of Lilly" originally as a screenplay, but I have rewritten it as a Graphic Novel. It's a continuation of the Phantom of the Opera, written so long ago. In the first book, the Phantom learned if you love someone, truly love them, you will let them go. In "Phantom Song, Lily," he will learn that love is possible, even for him. I love creating the book cover first. It makes it feel more real somehow.
